CFCU will collect only the personal information that is necessary to conduct our business. That means just what is necessary to identify you and to provide competitive financial products and services. We collect information about you from the following sources:

- Information about your transactions with us, or others.
- Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency.
CFCU will only share information when absolutely necessary. We do not disclose any non-public personal information about our members or former members to anyone, except as permitted by law. We will only share information in the course of administering the products and services we provide, or when required to do so by law. We do not provide account or personal information to other companies for the purpose of independent telemarketing, online marketing or direct mail marketing.
CFCU will partner only with businesses that follow strict confidentiality requirements. The businesses we select will offer products designed to enhance our members’ economic well being. When we conduct business with third parties, we require them to maintain similar standards of conduct regarding the privacy of non-public personal information provided to them.
CFCU will protect your personal information. Your credit union will maintain strong security controls to ensure that member information in our computer and physical files is protected. We will use advances security coding techniques to protect against unauthorized access to personal records to ensure accuracy and integrity of communications and transactions, and protect member confidentiality.
CFCU will limit employee access to your personal information. Employee access to non-public personal information is limited to those employees with a business reason to know such information. Employees are educated on the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of member information.
We believe the confidentiality and protection of member information is one of our fundamental responsibilities.
